We use regular informed feedback to improve pupil learning. Written and verbal feedback is used to ensure young people know where they are in their learning, what their next steps are and how they can improve.
Learners using feedback to improve is a focus for session 2022/23.
We will use the EEF report Teacher Feedback to Improve Pupil Learning to provide meaningful and impactful CLPL opportunities throughout session 2022/23. Shared learning and progress will be exemplified on this page.
“As Dylan Wiliam comments in the report, feedback is what happens second, after high-quality teaching and careful selection of an assessment task that reveals how well students have understood the learning. Without these foundations in place, feedback may be of little value”
