Ready to Learn - What is the purpose?

We all have the same goal - for young people to be ready to learn - and recognise that some young people will require additional support and check-ins. Our ready to learn strategy aims to ensure that:

• Young people feel empowered as learners 

• Young people are supported to self-regulate

• Young people are supported to strategise how to become Ready to learn

• Young people are supported and encouraged to self-reflect on their approach to their learning

We have developed a shared language that is used consistently across the school to strengthen support for young people.
